INGREDIENTS: African Shea butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Murumuru butter, Vitamin E, Argan Oil, Castor Oil and Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Essential oils ( Ylang-ylang, lemongrass and Cinnamon )

Benefits of ingredients:

Shea butter contains high levels of linoleic acid and oleic acid. These two acids balance each other out. That means Shea butter is easy for your skin to fully absorb and won’t make your skin look oily after application. Shea butter doesn’t contain chemical irritants known to dry out skin, and it doesn’t clog pores.

It contains:

• Linoleic, palmitic, stearic, and oleic fatty acids, ingredients that balance oils on your skin

• Vitamins A, E, and F, antioxidant vitamins that promote circulation and healthy skin cell growth

• Triglycerides, the fatty part of the shea nut that nourishes and conditions your skin

• Cetyl esters, the waxy part of the shea nut butter that conditions skin and locks in moisture.

Coconut oil has many uses that have little to do with eating. Many people use it for cosmetic purposes to improve the health and appearance of their skin.

Studies show that coconut oil can boost the moisture content of dry skin. It may also improve the function of the skin, helping prevent excessive water loss and protecting you from external factors, such as infectious agents, chemicals, and allergens.

Sweet Almond Oil

According to some clinical studies and anecdotal evidence, applying almond oil to the skin may have the following benefits:

  • Reduces puffiness and under-eye circles. Because almond oil is an anti-inflammatory, it may help ease swelling of the skin.
  • Improves complexion and skin tone. Due to its emollient properties, almond oil has the potential to improve both complexion and skin tone.
  • Treats dry skin. Almond oil has been used for centuries to treat dry skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis.
  • Improves acne. The oil’s fatty acid content may help dissolve excess oil on the skin, while the retinoids in the oil may reduce the appearance of acne and improve cell turnover.
  • Reduces the appearance of scars. In ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, almond oil was used to reduce scarring. The vitamin E content may contribute to helping smooth the skin.
  • Reduces the appearance of stretch marks. According to some studies, sweet almond oil may be an effective treatment for preventing and reducing stretch marks.

Is it safe to use almond oil on your skin?

Almond oil is generally considered safe to use on your skin. However, there are some safety precautions to keep in mind.

  • If you’re allergic to nuts, avoid using creams with almond oil on your skin.
  • If you’ve never used almond oil on your skin before, do a patch test before applying to your face.
  • You can do a patch test by dabbing a small amount of almond oil on the inside of your wrist or elbow. If there are no signs of redness, itching, burning, or swelling within a few hours, the oil is likely safe to use on your skin.

What Is Murumuru Butter?

Murumuru butter is derived from murumuru nuts, which fall from astrocaryum murumuru, a palm tree found in the Amazon. Murumuru butter is rich in fatty acids, including lauric acid and myristic acid, which helps to support the natural skin barrier and prevent moisture loss

Thanks to its moisture-trapping nature, while murumuru butter is very beneficial for skin, it's also a godsend for dry hair.

Benefits of Murumuru Butter for Skin

  • Deeply hydrating: Murumuru butter is rich in fatty acids and deeply penetrates the skin to hydrate.
  • Soothing: Murumuru butter is rich in omega 3s, and 9s, as well as vitamins A, E, and C, all nutrients that help soothe and nourish damaged and irritated skin.
  • Anti-inflammatory: Can be highly beneficial for those with eczema or other impaired skin barrier conditions, as it helps to repair the barrier and trap moisture.
